National media coverage for Outset Media games and puzzles
A staff writer for the Sun and Osprey Media papers (over 50 papers in all) plans to use five of our games and two puzzles in her gift guide. This is huge coverage. Follow the links to Sun and Osprey to see the listing of the papers included. The products are: PickTwo Deluxe, one of the 'Professor Noggin card game' titles, 'What?', 'Theories', 'Wacky Stacky', and 2 family puzzles: 'Serengeti Dusk' and 'Dragon Hunters'. She might still use the 'Create Your Own Puzzles' too.
This is not written in stone and she has already had her word count cut once and, as we all know, stories do get bumped, but at this point this is what she plans.

Canada AM to include Professor Noggin's History of Canada card game
The producers have selected Professor Noggin's History of Canada for the school-aged children segment of CTV's Toy Week, scheduled to run on Thursday, December 13th. This is Canada's most watched morning show so it should have a great impact on the entire Professor Noggin's card game series! The segement can be viewed at http://www.ctv.ca/canadaam

Chicago Cribbage now in stock!

Make Cribbage more fun - make it Chicago style!
Chicago Cribbage is now in stock in our Victoria, Montreal and Plattsburgh warehouses. This game should be a regular stock item in your store all year round. The great price point and compact size make it a quick and easy pickup for stocking stuffers, travel, office gifts, etc. The clamshell packaging allows for easy pegboard merchandising but I highly recommend ordering the display pack to start out. It holds ten games and really adds to the high end look of the games.
About the Game
• Ages 10+ • 2-4 Players
An exciting twist to the traditional game of cribbage, where players can demand a recut, stall their opponents, trade hands, and even prevent 'fifteens' from scoring. At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt seven special cards to be used during the game, adding a new level of strategy and fun. Have you been dealt lousy cards? No worries! Play the right card at the right time and improve your odds of winning. The card deck is hand illustrated with the 1930s art-deco gangster theme. The game does require players to have their own cribbage board for scoring. (It did not make sense to include a cribbage board with this game as Cribbage players almost always have one already.)

Professor Noggin in Nov 2007 issue of ChickaDEE

Professor Noggin's 'Creatures of Myth & Legend card game' will be in the November, 2007 issue of ChickaDEE (for readers ages 6-9). It will have a layout photo and PN logo/website.
The game will be the prize for a contest where kids design their own mythological creatures.
The mag's circulation is over 88,000 but its readership is much higher because it is available in lots of public libraries.
